Stay ahead of market movements with Price Alerts — a feature that helps you track live gold and silver prices and receive instant notifications when they reach your target value.

Accessing Price Alerts

1. Open the oGold App.

2. Go to Profile → Price Alerts.

3. Choose between Gold or Silver to view or create alerts.

Creating a Price Alert

You can create an alert to buy or sell gold or silver when the price reaches your desired target.

To create a price alert:

1. Tap Create Gold Alert or Create Silver Alert.

2. Select Trade Type:

   • Buy: Set an alert to buy when the price falls to your target.

   • Sell: Set an alert to sell when the price rises to your target.

3. Select Alert Type:

   • Price Reaches: Triggered when the price matches your set value.

   • Price Falls: Triggered when the price drops to or below your target.

4. Set Target Price — enter your preferred price in AED/gm, or use quick options like +5%, +10%, -5%, -10%.

5. Review the live price and 52-week range to make an informed decision.

6. Tap Save Alert to confirm.

Your alert is now active and will notify you when the target price is met.

Viewing Active Alerts

• Go to Profile → Price Alerts to see all your active alerts.

• Each alert displays:

  • Type: (e.g., Gold Price Falls or Silver Price Reaches)

  • Target Price (in AED/gm)

  • Expiry Date — all alerts remain active for 90 days.

• You’ll receive a notification when the live price reaches your target.

Note: Once an alert expires (after 90 days), it will be automatically removed from your account.

Deleting a Price Alert

If you no longer wish to track a specific price:

1. Open Profile → Price Alerts.

2. Select the alert you want to delete.

3. Tap Delete Alert.

4. Review the message:

   “Are you sure you want to delete this alert? You won’t receive notifications for this target price anymore.”

5. Tap Delete Alert to confirm.

The alert will be permanently removed from your list.

Managing Gold & Silver Alerts

• You can create up to 10 active alerts per metal (Gold/Silver).

• Alerts can be set for Price Reaches or Price Falls conditions.

• Monitor and manage all alerts directly from your Profile tab under Price Alerts.

Gold Price Falls – AED 366.3/gm
Expires: 28 Nov 2025 (89 days left)
You’ll be notified when gold price falls to AED 366.3/gm or lower.
