The Pause Goal feature in OGold allows you to temporarily stop your savings progress for any active goal. Whether you need a short financial break or wish to realign your priorities, pausing a goal gives you the flexibility to resume saving whenever you’re ready — without losing your existing progress.
You can easily access this feature from your Goal Details screen (e.g., Money for New Car) via the quick action menu.

Accessing the Pause Option
Open your active goal from the Goals dashboard.
Tap the menu (⋮) icon on the right side of the screen.
From the pop-up menu, select Manage Goal.

A dialog appears with options:
Complete Goal
Pause Goal
Cancel Goal Permanently
Choose Pause Goal to proceed.
Confirm Pause Action
Once selected, a confirmation message appears:
“Are you sure you want to pause the goal ‘Money for New Car’? You can resume it at any time.”
Tap Pause Goal to confirm.
When the action is successful, a green notification banner appears at the top of the screen:
Your goal is now paused.
Paused Goal State
After pausing, the goal card and details page update automatically:
The Top Up button changes to Resume Goal.
The goal’s status tag on the main list switches to Paused.
All automatic contributions are temporarily stopped.
Your saved progress, gold, and XP remain secure.
Users can still:
View past transactions
Track XP earned
Monitor live gold prices
This ensures full transparency even while the goal is inactive.
Resume Goal Anytime
When ready to continue, simply tap the Resume Goal button on your goal details page.
Your progress will pick up exactly where you left off — with contribution schedules and reminders reactivated automatically.
