How to manage Settings?

The Account & Settings section in the OGold app allows you to manage your account preferences, security, and appearance — all from one place.

Accessing Settings

1. Go to Profile → Account & Security.

2. Tap on Settings to open the available options.

You’ll find the following categories:

• Security: Password, Biometric Authentication

• Preferences: Language, Appearance

• Account Management: Delete Account

Change Password

To keep your account secure, you can update your password anytime.

1. Go to Settings → Password.

2. Enter your New Password and Confirm New Password.

3. Password must include:

   • Minimum 8 characters

   • At least one uppercase letter

   • At least one number

   • At least one symbol

4. Tap Save New Password.

5. You’ll see a confirmation: “Your password has been updated.”

Enable Biometric Authentication

You can use Face ID or fingerprint to log in faster and more securely.

1. In Settings, turn on Biometric Authentication.

2. Allow the app to access your device’s biometric settings.

3. Once enabled, you can log in using Face ID or fingerprint.

Change Language

Select your preferred language for a more personalized experience.

1. Go to Settings → Language.

2. Choose from the available options, such as:

   • Arabic (العربية)

   • English

   • Hindi (हिन्दी)

   • Urdu (اردو)

   • Bengali (বাংলা)

   • Tamil (தமிழ்)

   • Malayalam (മലയാളം)

   • Telugu (తెలుగు)

3. Your app will update automatically to the selected language.

Change Appearance

Customize how the app looks by switching between display modes.

1. Go to Settings → Appearance.

2. Choose your preferred theme:

   • System – Follows your device’s default mode.

   • Light – Always light mode.

   • Dark – Always dark mode.

3. You’ll see a confirmation: “Your appearance has been updated.”

Delete Account

If you wish to permanently remove your account:

1. Go to Settings → Delete Account.

2. Enter your Password to verify.

3. Review the warning note:

   • All personal data, saved preferences, and payment history will be erased.

   • You’ll be logged out immediately.

   • Access using the same login details will no longer be possible.

4. Select Yes, delete my account, then tap Delete Account.

5. You’ll see a confirmation screen:

   “Your account has been permanently deleted.”

6. To return, you’ll need to sign up again with a new account.

Tip

Turn on Biometric Authentication and keep your password updated regularly to ensure maximum account security.
